TIDE is data-driven, surveying participants before and after training to establish that the training is meeting their needs to feel confident and competent in providing trauma-informed care.

​Misty Carey is saying what we all know but rarely name out loud:
punishing people for their trauma doesn't work.
Zero tolerance policies don't make us safer. And we need a completely different approach.

What would it mean for your workplace if patient escalation decreased? If you felt more confident and less afraid? If the training you received actually prepared you for the reality you face?

That's what Misty is building at TIDE Education and Training. Not with unlimited resources or no struggles. But with 30 years of nursing wisdom, personal experience with trauma, and a stubborn refusal to accept that violence against healthcare workers is inevitable.
